Boris Pasternak - Doctor Zhivago
Boris Pasternak's novel "Doctor Zhivago" reflects the mindset of ideological frustrations that prevailed in the post-revolutionary period, especially among the intelligentsia. In this sense, the novel is also a unique history of the fate of the Russian intelligentsia from the beginning of the 20th century to 1918-20. the civil war.
In 1958, Pasternak was awarded the Nobel Prize for this novel.
