Garegin Nzhdeh - Why Did Mountainous Armenia Fight?
The book presents the first part of the book series dedicated to Mountainous Armenia (Lernahayastan), which contains Garegin Nzhdeh’s memoirs, orders and articles about the struggle for the survival of Lernahayastan. “I could not retreat because I had talked a lot to the people in my care about the relentless struggle, the victorious death, making the impossible possible. I was not even morally free to look back, because I had put pride and contempt in the souls of my soldiers, because I was proud and spoke loudly.”
